William James Ramsay, 90 of Wingina, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2017. He was born Dec. 5, 1926 in Goodman, Wisconsin, the son of the late John and Rosalie Ramsay. He made a career in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Julia Dross Ramsay; daughter, Cassandra R. Kitchen; sister, Pauline R. Orlowski; two grandchildren, Amanda Ramsay and Mickey Kitchen; five great-grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with interment in the Ramsay Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
