The Buckingham High School JROTC Raider team competed in the 34th annual Charlottesville 10K, 6.2-mile run in support of the Special Olympics. According to a press release, the Raider Team donated more than $750 to Area 3 Special Olympics in Charlottesville. The male team swept their age and category, with Ian Martin placing third, Josh Meek placing second and Tyler Moore placing first. Top female for her age category was Sarah Perry placing first.
