Hampden-Sydney College’s football team opened its conference scheduled with a win Saturday and improved to 2-2 on the season after a 37-27 victory over visiting Bridgewater College. Pictured above with the ball, senior wide receiver Cam Johnson, a former Buckingham County High School standout, had a sensational game against the Eagles. He recorded 12 catches for 139 yards and a touchdown, and he also ran the ball the four times for 31 yards. The Tigers visit Guilford College (2-2) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
