Fuqua School is celebrating its 25th year and continues its vision to serve as a model of academic excellence for rural America while instilling in students the importance of honesty, respect and responsibility. In celebration, Fuqua School is joining the #GivingTuesday movement, a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Fuqua’s Board of Trustees has issued a $25,000 challenge that if the school community can raise $25,000 between October 1 and #GivingTuesday (Nov. 28 or the Tuesday after Thanksgiving), the Board will provide a $25,000 matching gift. Raising a combined $50,000 or more before the end of the first semester will be a huge boost to reaching this year’s Falcon Fund goal of $95,000. All gifts to Fuqua School are tax deductible. Those that are interested can donate online at www.FuquaSchool.com using the “Give Now” button on the right side of the page. Help continue to provide an outstanding educational choice for children in Southside Virginia.
