BUCKINGHAM — The Buckingham County Sheriff’s Office released a public service announcement Thursday reporting instances of unknown callers trying to solicit personal health information from county citizens.

According to the announcement, the person calling will pose questions about what illnesses a citizen has or what medications a citizen may take.

“Please remember to never give out any of your personal information, whether it be concerning your credit, health or any other personal information to unsolicited callers,” said Buckingham County Sheriff William G. “Billy” Kidd Jr.
