In response to the letter to the editor titled “She criticizes column (Aug. 2),” I must say I am a Bible-believing Christian and believe that Pastor Steve Conwell reads and preaches straight from the one and only true word of God … The Holy Bible.

I often hear Conwell on WFLO in the mornings, and I must say it is a refreshing way to start my day. Nothing in the way of bigotry that I hear.

For someone to call him a bigot, they must not believe what the Bible says. Being lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender is wrong … We are to love the sinner and hate the sin … Read the Bible. Conwell does.

It is my hope that The Farmville Herald will continue to print Conwell’s devotionals.
