We offer our highest commendation to Farmville United Methodist Church Lead Pastor Michael Kendall and Farmville Mayor David Whitus for their quickly organizing a community prayer event that united members of our community from all walks of life Sunday. While it’s of the utmost importance that we pray for those affected by the events that unfolded in Charlottesville on Saturday, it’s just as important to show unification for a cause such as good as the one this event purposed itself on.
