Ranger challenge set for July 22

Friends of Twin Lakes State Park will present a childrens’ Ranger Challenge on July 22 from noon-4 p.m.
The event is open to youth age 14 and under. During the challenge, youth will participate in four events including geocaching, backyard bass casting, canoeing and an obstacle course.
Each young ranger will need an adult partner for the canoeing activity. These activities will be ongoing during the afternoon. The registration fee is $5 per child. Register from noon-3 p.m. near Twin Lakes’ Concession stand, “The Spot.”
There will be souvenirs for all participants and prizes for top finishers. The award ceremony will be at 4 p.m.
