Mary Bell Langhorne, 58, of Cumberland departed this life on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 in Cumberland. 

She is survived by her daughter, Ebonie Arauz; life partner, Marwell Arauz, Sr.; grandson, Khamryi J.  Brooks; two brothers, Raymond “Mickey” Langhorne (Emma) and Ray Langhorne (Jean); three step-daughters, Lygia, Karina, and Madhiam; a step-son, Marwell Arauz, Jr. (Vanesa); eight step-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Her remains rested at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home of Cumberland, where public viewing was held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Funeral service was held Sunday 2 p.m. at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Cumberland.  Rev. Larry E. Smith, pastor officiated.  Interment was held in the church cemetery.
