Division Superintendent Dr. Barbara Johnson said the event was a perfect way to welcome the graduating class — a group of more than 150 students who received their diplomas last Saturday.

“Our seniors are celebrated,” Johnson said, “and underclassmen will be able to see what the future could look like for them four years from now or eight years from now. It’s a fabulous opportunity.”

This year, seniors walked through Prince Edward Middle School in addition to Prince Edward Elementary School while being cheered on by students, faculty and staff in the respective schools.

Middle and elementary students, in addition to faculty and staff members, lined the hallways, offering high fives as seniors, dressed in their caps and gowns, walked through the hallway.
