April 28 — also known as Decision Day — was a very special day at Buckingham County High School. “In celebration of finalizing decisions on their plans in the fall for college, technical school, military or work, seniors at the high school gathered to celebrate with music, games, T-shirts, prizes and pizza,” school officials said. “The pizza, supplied by Dominion Power/Bear Garden, was consumed with relish.” According to the release, 38 honor graduates, who had a 3.5 GPA or better, were also given T-shirts by Dominion Power. The annual event, hosted by the school’s Americorps College advisor and the counseling department, was a great success and a very fun way to end the school year.
