The United Way of Prince Edward County recently celebrated having raised more than $40,000 to distribute to its partner organizations as members of its board of directors posed for a photo of the latest progress star on Monday, April 17. The board charting the fundraising accomplishment is in front of Citizen’s Bank & Trust Co., located on South Main Street in Farmville. Pictured are, from left, board members Rucker Snead, Jamie C. Ruff, Kerry Mossler, Rhonda Arnold, Bruce Davis and Sandy Cooke. The group is still seeking donations as it pursues its fundraising goal of $50,000.
