Longwood University’s women’s lacrosse team unleashed a flurry of goals in a 21-7 road win over Gardner-Webb University on Saturday and in a 23-1 domination of host Presbyterian College on Thursday.

Saturday’s win secured a top-five seed for the Lancers for the fifth straight season.

The Lancers (7-10, 3-4 in the Big South) have earned the No. 5 seed in the Big South Lacrosse Championships and will travel Saturday to fourth-seeded Liberty University for the quarterfinals. Set for a noon start, they will be livestreamed on the Big South Network.
