‘Lil’ bird’ gets a new home at Habitat

Fuqua School recently generously donated one of its retired buses, affectionately known around the school as “Lil’ Bird,” to the Farmville Area Habitat for Humanity, also based in Farmville. According to a press release from the school, Lil’ Bird served the community by transporting children to and from the school. “Now it will continue to serve the community as a mobile equipment trailer for Habitat.” We commend Fuqua for making such a friendly and neighborly donation to an organization that serves the region -— one we should all support whenever we can.
