The eighth annual Farmville Wine Festival is Saturday, noon-5 p.m.

“Bring your lawn chair, sunscreen and friends and come on out to Riverside Park,” organizers said in a press release.

“We have amazing wineries, food vendors and craft and retail vendors. The Castaways Band will be performing live all afternoon and it proves to be a beachin’ good time. The Farmville Wine Festival is always a benefit for Meals on Wheels.”

“We diligently find sponsors to cover all our expenses, so all booth fees, ticket sales, raffle ticket and silent auctions sales, absolutely everything we raise goes 100 percent to Meals on Wheels,” organizers said.
