Edward Lee Stump

Edward Lee Stump, 63, passed away peacefully on March 25th with his daughter’s palm rested on his heart and both his hands held simultaneously by his son and very best friend.

Edward Lee Stump was born on October 16,1953 in Lebanon P.A. He had over 43 years of construction contracting skills and built many commercial buildings throughout Fairfax and Loudoun counties all the way down to the Charlottesville area. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and farm. He loved spending time with family and friends, playing guitar, gardening and woodworking.  He was a loving sweet man with a huge heart that always put others first.  He was married to his late wife Suzan Stump.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Stump of Vienna; son, Michael Stump of Aldie; daughter, Melissa Watson of Purcellville; grandson, Tyler Watson of Purcellville; brothers, Robert Stump of Myrtle Beach and Johnnie Stump of Winchester; along with many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Robert Stump of Vienna.
