Willow Branch Bluegrass Band will return to Sharon Baptist Church on Saturday from 7-8:30 p.m. for a high-spirited performance of bluegrass and gospel music which has become an annual tradition and highly anticipated community event. 

“This is a great opportunity for music lovers to hear why Willow Branch has twice been named Best Bluegrass Band by the Virginia Folk Music Association,” church leaders said in a press release. “The show features toe-tapping favorites, original compositions and soul-stirring gospel music; outstanding harmony vocals complimented by banjo, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, bass fiddle and Dobro. No admission fee; donations appreciated to support the Sharon Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Building Fund. Arrive at 6 p.m. for (a) soup supper.”
