Students compete in Best of the Best Raider Qualifier

The Buckingham County High School JROTC competed in the Best of the Best Raider Qualifier held at Magna Vista March 18. The team placed first in rope bridge, second in logistics relay, fourth in the physical fitness test, sixth in 5K and fourth in litter carry. The team was named Top Virginia Raider Team for Fourth Brigade for Best of the Best Raider Qualifier overall, ranking first place out of 17 teams. Twenty of the Best Raiders Teams from Virginia, West Virginia, North and South Carolina will be competing April 21-22. The top three will vie for a national title.
