Miles Family Reunion is April 8

Happy birthday wishes go out this week to Debbie England, of Dillwyn, and James “J.R.” Smith, of Farmville, Friday, March 31.

The 2017 Annual Spring Miles Family Reunion will be held on Saturday, April 8 from 1-3 p.m. at Golden Corral in Midlothian. All family members and their guests are cordially invited to attend.

A nice crowd attended a family luncheon on Sunday afternoon at the home of James and Virginia Boyles, of Cumberland. A nice time was had by all.

Barry and Linda Miles, of Cumberland, along with Annie May Miles, of Dillwyn, and Cheryl Canipe, of Henrico, all enjoyed an afternoon of great fellowship and lunch at Golden Corral of Richmond.

The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a non-profit organization, will host its regular monthly meeting Monday at 5 p.m. at Hatcher Baptist Church of Cumberland.

All members are asked to attend and bring a covered dish for the meal and a flower and or plant to exchange for the program.

Welcome home to T.J. Waycaster who spent a few days at Chippenham Hospital of Richmond with some health problems.

Our sympathy is extended to the Ashburn family, of Cumberland.

The Loaves of Love Food Pantry, operated by the Seventh Day Adventist Church, located at 2294 Cartersville Road, is designed for Cumberland County residents. The next food distribution will be held Wednesday from 3-4:30 p.m.
