Lance Earl Dandridge

Lance Earl Dandridge, 27, of Arvonia, died March 17, 2017. He was born August 26, 1989 in Wiesbaden, West Germany, the son of Angela Layne Edwards and the late Earl Ray Dandridge. He was employed by Steinruck, LLC.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Ann Dandridge; son, Aiden Dandridge; mother and stepfather, Angie and Walter “Junie Bug” Edwards; paternal grandparents, Esther and Gene Bradbury and Snead Dandridge; maternal grandparents, Claude Meinhard and Ann Maxey; two brothers, Dylan Dunkum and Walter Edwards III; stepbrothers and sisters, Tameche Perkins, Jamar Perkins (Christine), Amy Perkins, Mark Jones, Catrell Ayers (Deanna) Breanna Cavanaugh and Christian Cavanaugh; aunts and uncles, Brad Layne, Jr. (Leisa), Mike Edwards (Scotty), Louis Edwards (Kathy), Charlotte Hudgins, Barbara Edwards, Mary Ann Robinson (Walt), Gabe Layne, Billy Dandridge (Kim) and John Dandridge (Amy); special friends, James Moore Jr., Thomas Lightfoot, Houston Spessard, Robbie Maxey, Jason Milbrath and Trell Ayers and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves behind his dog, Henny.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Phyllis Ann Meinhard and Bradley Layne Sr.; uncle, Phillip Dandridge; maternal great-grandparents, Jess and Ruth Griffin and Wilbur and Carolyn Layne and paternal great-grandparents, Ray and Agnes Ogle.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 11 a.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn.
