Francine Marie Branch

On the morning of March 19, 2017, God in his infinite wisdom dispatched His angel to usher Francine Marie Branch to her heavenly home, which He had prepared.

Francine Marie Branch was born in Buckingham County on December 31, 1965 to the late Wilson A. Branch and Geneather Watson Branch. She attended Buckingham County Public Schools. She completed her course in school and graduated from high school. While attending school, she was a member of the Brownie Troop, participated in Special Olympics in Lynchburg under the supervision of the late Claiborne Johnson and she was in attendance of a six week summer school program, which she never missed a day.

The challenge of life for Francine has been completed and she has transitioned to the place which Jesus has prepared. She leaves to cherish precious memories a loving and devoted mother, Geneather Branch; a loving and devoted brother, Wilson L. Branch; god-sister, Andrea Woodson-Chambers; four aunts, Vivian Hayes, Geneva Brown, Deborah Jones and Jessical Branch; one uncle Thomas Jones; one great uncle, Sam Jones; and one great aunt, Geraline Jones; host of relatives and friends.

A service was held Thursday, March 23 at First Liberty Baptist Church, Dillwyn, Virginia 23936, with internment in the church cemetery.

The V.Y. Scott Funeral Home, Amelia, served the family.
