Fannie Lois Barnes, 78, of Meherrin, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack T. Barnes; her parents, George and Mattie Taylor; and 12 siblings.

She is survived by her son, Mack Daniel Barnes and wife, Jeanie; her daughter, Debra Barnes LeGrand and husband, Harold; two grandchildren, Billie Jo Adkins and husband, Brandon, and Randy Barnes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment following in the Meherrin Methodist Church Cemetery, Meherrin.
