Matthew Cornell, 19, of Cumberland, recently graduated from boot camp at Paris Island. He plans on attending Marine Combat Training, followed by Aviation Electric School in Pensacola, Florida. Cornell, who was homeschooled, is an Eagle Scout. He’s the son of Rick and Alma Cornell, of Cumberland.
