AMELIA — A 29-year-old Richmond man was arrested Wednesday on a charge of first-degree murder.

Mark A. Sheppard Jr. was charged in connection with the murder of Shy’nisha Walker in May of 2016. He was transported to jail and scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 13 in the Amelia District Court.
