Madeline’s House is hosting its second annual Flapjack Fundraiser at Applebee’s in Farmville. The event will take place March 18 from 8-10 a.m. 

Each breakfast is $10 and will include pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice, milk and coffee.

Staff will also sell Madeline’s House T-shirts and child abuse awareness pinwheels.

Proceeds from the event will be used for programming at Madeline’s House. “It is the mission of Madeline’s House to provide services and resources to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault; whether through emergency shelter, community clients or public education,” officials said in a press release.

Madeline’s House is focusing this year on expanding programs for children and underserved populations within the community.
