Buckingham County High School’s varsity boys basketball team closed its regular season schedule Friday by winning 69-61 at Prince Edward County High School, sweeping the series against the Eagles. After starting the season 1-5, the young Knights pushed their record to 10-10 with the latest win. Senior guard Antonio Chambers led Buckingham with 24 points, freshman forward Trevor Kelly added 18 points off the bench and sophomore guard Andrew Johnson Jr., pictured above, had 10 points and six assists. Buckingham begins play in the Courthouse Conference 37 tournament Feb. 15 at 7 p.m., with the opponent and location to be announced.
