Holiday Lake 4-H Center’s 2017 Fishing Camp registration is open.

Fishing Camp will take place April 7-9, at the Holiday Lake 4-H Center.

“This camp is a wonderful opportunity for youth to learn how to fish and to grow in skills related to fishing, such as knot tying, safety, and lure making,” officials said in a press release. “Evening programs will be offered as well; fishing games, underwater fish light presentation, fish jeopardy and recreation time.”

The program is supported by the 2016 Virginia Wildlife eStore Grant Program through a partnership between the Virginia Department of Games and Inland Fisheries and the Wildlife Foundation of Virginia.

Early-bird registration is $90 before March 13. Regular price is $95 after March 13. For more information, visit or call Levi Callahan at (434) 248-5444.
