BLACK HISTORY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Mercy Seat Baptist Church. Dr. Obery M. Hendricks Jr. will be the guest speaker. Hendricks is a visiting Scholar at Columbia University, an emeritus professor of biblical interpretation at New York Theological Seminary and is an accomplished author. Hendricks is the son of the late Obery Hendricks Sr. and Willie B. Hendricks, formerly of Prospect and Charlotte Court House. Music will be rendered by a guest choir.
