The Cumberland County Public Library will host AARP free tax preparation on Mondays from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., beginning Feb. 6-April 10.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged. Appointments can be made by calling the library at (804) 492-5807 during normal operating hours.

Those filing taxes should bring a social security card, photo ID for themselves, spouse and all dependents, last year’s tax return and all income tax documents. “If stock was sold, they must bring the date of purchase and original purchase amount. This program is made possible through the partnership with AARP volunteers,” organizers said in a release.
