Farm team baseball in downtown Farmville? I hope not !

The proposed site on East Third Street is next to the heart of the town’s retail businesses and warrants usage that would best support a healthy, constant patronage. The likelihood of acquiring and maintaining a farm team is chancy and would only provide sporadic customers.

University or other housing would provide a constant patronage to the vitality of our retail business core. Longwood and Farmville need to work together to engage the best actions for the future of our town.
