Buckingham County High School’s varsity boys basketball team had won five out of its last six games going into Wednesday night’s home game against Bluestone High School. The Knights’ latest win came with a 74-68 final score Tuesday evening at Central Lunenburg High School. Senior guard Antonio Chambers led the Knights on offense, as usual, scoring 21 points. Senior guard Gray Heslip, pictured, contributed 16 points, sophomore guard Andrew Johnson Jr. registered 10 points and junior center Brycen Newby added eight points and 12 rebounds. Buckingham (6-7) visits Goochland High School on Friday with a 7 p.m. tipoff.
