Anna Taylor Gunter, 54, of Dillwyn, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 30, 2017. She was born September 18, 1962, a daughter of the late Acey Taylor and Mary “Nick” Taylor Maxey.

She was an employee of both Pizza Hut and Fas Mart for 20-plus years.

She is survived by her son, Melvin D. Gunter Jr.; her husband of 36 years, Melvin D. Gunter Sr.; sister, Edna Baldwin and her son, Donnie Lee Baldwin II; sister, Mary Williams and her daughter, Minnie Williams; brother, Charles R. Taylor and his wife, Bonnie. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Acey Woodrow Taylor, Jr. and a nephew, John Williams.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 3 at 6 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home.
