Steven Todd Wright, 48, of Farmville, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016. He was born on November 26, 1968 to Carroll H. and Louise Berkley Wright in Farmville.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, after his first duck hunt he said “I think I like duck hunting better than deer hunting.” He loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, camping, boating and spending time with “His girls.”

He started working at 16 with his dad in the family business and continued throughout his life.

Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Lynette Hostetter Wright; two daughters, Kasie R. Wright and Brittany N. Wright both of Farmville; his parents; his sister, Lisa W. Wilkerson (Dwight) of Farmville; a nephew, Daniel Wilkerson; and a host of nieces, nephews and several close childhood friends.

A funeral service was held in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home on December 29 with interment in College Church Cemetery, Hampden Sydney.
