Rice Lawrence Seay Jr., 86, of Dillwyn, died Saturday, December 24, 2016.  He was a retired contractor.

He is survived by his five children, Lawrence Seay and his wife, Janet, Janet Seay Burley, Ronald Seay, Donald Seay and Patricia Seay; four sisters, Mary Anne Haver, Betty Keith, Jean Hollins and Carolyn Morris; two brothers, Marshall Seay and Earl Seay; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Seay and a sister, Frances Seay.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 27 at the Dunkum Funeral Home with interment in the Seay Family Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Buckingham County Rescue Squad.
