Lattie B. Tipton, 79, of Farmville, passed away on December 12, 2016. He was born on April 30, 1937.

He is survived by two brothers, Olin Tipton of Forest and Hubert Tipton (Jessie) of Curdsville; three sisters, Mary Bailey of Mars Hill NC, Inez Jones (Tom) of Crewe, and Frances Huddleston (Joe) of Farmville; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Orla Tipton.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 1 p.m. in Westview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 13 from 6–7:30 p.m. at Shorter Funeral Home.
