Jent makes bond on drug charges

An 18-year-old New Canton man facing numerous felony drug charges has made bond.

According to court records and the Buckingham County Sheriff’s Office, Cameron James Jent faces two charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and four charges of selling and distributing marijuana.

He was arrested on the charges on Dec. 12.

Jent was indicted on the charges by a grand jury on Nov. 15, according to court records.

According to Sheriff William G. “Billy” Kidd Jr., Jent is being charged by the Piedmont Regional Narcotics and Gang Task Force.

According to court records, the offenses took place during three days in September.

A hearing on the charges is set for Jan. 10 in Buckingham Circuit Court.
