Fuqua gives back to the community through Christmas Mother program

Each month during the school year, Fuqua School’s Lower School Student Council Association (SCA) chooses an organization to support as its way of giving back to the community. Because this month’s core value is compassion, the Lower School SCA chose to help the Heart of Virginia Christmas Mother program by collecting toys for children. Nancy Haga, this year’s Christmas Mother, recently came to collect over 130 gifts donated by Fuqua Lower School students. Pictured are, from left, front row, Ashley Seiler, Levi Price, Bailee Click, Haga, Kinley Tucker, Allen Blackman, back row, Nathan Motter, Maggie Meadows, Rebecca Entrekin, Caroline Martin, Ainsly Harris, Kenna Schmidt, Lexi Peidra and Luke Jarrett. We commend the school for instilling giving back at a young age and helping the less fortunate in our community.
