The Spirit of ’76, the Class of 1976, that is, of Buckingham County High School held its 40th school reunion Dec. 3 at Charleys Waterfront Café with a great turnout. Alumni and guests filled the large dining room. The years melted away as the group dined, reminiscing about their school days. Lots of laughter and hugs were shared. Many had not seen some of their fellow classmates since graduation 40 years ago. The evening included a delicious dinner, nametags, door prizes and a piece of a commemorative cake. At the end of the evening, the classmates parted, taking memories of an incredible occasion and hopes of staying in touch in the future.
