A $71,150 grant from the Jessie Ball DuPont Fund will help pay to complete an investment-grade energy audit and implement energy-reduction strategies at Fuqua School. The grant is among $695,000 in grant funds being dispersed to Virginia-based organizations.

The Jessie Ball duPont Fund makes grants to more than 320 eligible organizations identified by Mrs. duPont in her will. The fund has assets of more than $270 million and has awarded $361 million in grants since 1977.

Among other grants awarded was $80,000 to create a pro-bono clinic for law students working in the areas of civil rights and racial justice at the University of Virginia Law School.
