Fuqua School’s Youth for Christ (YFC) recently collected 1,032 pounds of food to donate to Farmville Area Community Emergency Services (FACES). Founded in 1981, FACES has evolved into one of the largest and most efficient food agencies in Virginia, distributing food weekly to an average of 960 local households. Frances Moore, YFC sponsor, helped club officers coordinate the food drive, with students and teachers from pre-K-12th grade donating.
