Buckingham County High School (BCHS) students interested in a career in graphic design, interior design, or Web design got an opportunity to learn more about these careers when guest speaker Miles Quillen, of Portland, Ore., gave a presentation on his work as a Web designer. Quillen, a BCHS and Virginia Commonwealth University graduate, shared his career story of working his way up to his current position of designing for a variety of employers such as Wells Fargo and Walmart. The presentation is one of a monthly series on career choices offered to the high school students.
