The Southside Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) presents its cat and dog of the month for October.

Teddy Hawk is a beautiful orange and white cat who needs some patience. He is still a little wary of people, but deserves a chance. He is up to date on his shots and hoping someone will give him the chance he needs to be a perfect companion.

Chuck is an adorable Bassett/Beagle mix who was rescued from a euthanizing animal control in the nick of time. At 3 years old and 20 pounds, Chuck is the perfect “fun-sized” companion. He’s good with other dogs and loves adventure … and packs a lot of personality in a little body!
