This is in response to Sandy Bruton’s “extreme Republicans” blurt (“The Republican extremists,” Sept. 21, 2016).

She didn’t let facts get in the way of what she wanted to make the truth.

I, too, was a young man in the ’60s, I remember the Republicans fighting side by side with Dr. Martin Luther King in passing the Civil Rights bill. I remember her party, the Democratic Party, fighting it violently — to the extent where, in this county, they shut down the schools rather then segregate.

That’s the extreme party.

I remember the Democrats starting the Klu Klux Klan. You must be so proud. Even today, the Democrats continue to promise the black communities everything, but deliver nothing.

Now, today, the Democrats are nothing more than socialists and communists trying to destroy the very fabric of our nation. The so-called Affordable Care Act is anything but. It is an unmitigated financial disaster passed by extreme Democrats, most of who didn’t even bother to read it.

If elected, Hilliary Clinton will place the final nail in the coffin of a free America.

You can’t make up lies and pass it as the truth.
