Robert and Janet (Worthy) Loveless, of Amelia Island, Fla., announce the engagement of their son, Michael C. Loveless to Miss Haley Elizabeth Shaw. Michael is the grandson of Mrs. Dolly Worthy and the late Kenneth Worthy, of Farmville. Miss Shaw is the daughter of Mrs. Kimberly Anderson, of Manakin-Sabot, and Mr. Stephen Shaw, of Richmond.

Michael holds a B.A. in business from Florida State University, and currently works for Wells Fargo Bank, where he is the regional affluent segment leader for eastern North Carolina.

Miss Shaw holds an A.A. degree in mass communication from Virginia Commonwealth University, a certification in floral design from J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College and is a certified personal fitness trainer.

A fall wedding is planned on Slate Hill Farm after which the couple will reside in Wilmington, N.C.
