U.S. 5th Congressional District Rep. Robert Hurt, center, visited Cumberland County on Aug. 23 to personally thank Cumberland County Administrator Vivian Giles, Cumberland County Administrator, left, and Cumberland County Public Library Director Robin Sapp for the use of the county’s facilities during his time in office. Office hours for Hurt’s staff were held several times during the past few years at the library to allow representatives from his office to reach out to constituents who were unable to visit his district offices. “It has been an honor and a privilege working with Ms. Giles and Ms. Sapp during my time in the U.S. House of Representatives and representing the 5th Congressional District,” Hurt said.
