FARMVILLE — The Farmville Jaycees and Sunchase Cinema 8 will hold a free outdoor movie event Saturday at 7 p.m. with Captain America: Civil War (PG-13) on a 26-foot screen with concert sound at Riverside Park. The Jaycees invite the public to bring lawn chairs and blankets, and will also be giving away five copies of the movie on Blu-Ray for those who register at a Sunchase booth. There will be free popcorn provided by First Bank, and Merk’s Place will sell food and drink with proceeds going to a local charity. The event is also sponsored in part by the Downtown Farmville Partnership and Benchmark Community Bank.
