The Third Thursday Book Club opened its 2016-17 year with a meeting hosted by Jane Hines and held at The Inn on the Avenues. The speaker was Justin Pope, chief of staff and advisor to President W. Taylor Reveley IV at Longwood University. He discussed changes being made to the university in preparation for the vice presidential debate and described events that would be taking place.
