Norman Lee Rickmond Sr., 73, of Cumberland, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016.  He was born April 5, 1943, to the late Phillip Luther and Josephine Sadler Rickmond.

Mr. Rickmond worked as a painter for many years.  He also enjoyed fishing, gardening and building different things around the property.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Norman Rickmond Jr.; his sister, Joyce Epps; and his grandson, Derrick.

He is survived by his children, Norma, Debra and Brian; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his brother; two sisters; his special companion for over 40 years, Diane; and a dear friend, Doug.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 30 at Westview Cemetery.
