There will be a Labor Day Weekend slowpitch double-elimination softball tournament held on Saturday, Sept. 3, starting at 8 a.m. at New Fevers Sports Park, which is located on 193 McLendon Drive in Farmville.

Teams from Prince Edward, Cumberland, Buckingham, Richmond, Crewe, Blackstone, Burkeville and Hampden-Sydney are invited. The tourney winner receives a $300 cash prize and trophy.

The entry fee per team is $150.
