On Saturday, the Blessed Community Choir, under the direction of James Carrington, will be in concert at First Baptist Church in Farmville. The program will begin at 5 p.m. All donations are appreciated and will be used to defray the cost of a newly purchased lift/elevator. The Rev. James P. Ashton is pastor.
